Safariland Duty Gear seen on Female Forces, a new reality series on the Bio Channel
NAPERVILLE, IL, September 15, 2008—A&E’s new Bio Channel will air Female Forces for thirteen weeks beginning on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Female Forces is a new reality series that follows 11 female police officers employed by the Naperville Police Department, a department in the suburbs of Chicago. This series is a behind the scenes look at the women’s normal lives as well as their police lives. The series will show the females as they fight a variety of crimes ranging from shootings and fights to public drunkenness and traffic violations. SAVVY Armor and Safariland Duty Gear donated a significant amount of product to the officers and were featured in two episodes, episode #105, named “Trouble with Teens” that airs five weeks after the premier and episode #109, named “Bullet Proof Fever,” which airs nine weeks after the premier. Short two-minute “webisodes” will also be featured online at bio.tv, one of which, named “Lisa’s new ‘in-vest’ment,” features SAVVY Armor. Bio Channel, 5 October 2008.
