The new Defender™ lightbar from Code 3, Inc. was unveiled at the IACP Conference and Exposition in San Diego. Featuring patent-pending TriCore™ technology, the Defender is the brightest, most advanced lightbar available.
Exclusive to Code 3, TriCore is two times brighter than any other lighthead, providing enhanced officer safety in both daytime and nighttime operation.
In the Defender lightbar, TriCore maintains astonishing visibility a full 360°, with bright, clear signals
from every angle. The Defender also features a Dimming Mode, which meets SAE Safety
Standards and eliminates situations where too much light could be hazardous to officer safety.
The Defender lightbar boasts an innovative, modular design that provides a wide range of configurations
and flexibility to suit any application. The universal lighthead design reduces inventory and
makes lighthead replacement much easier.
The Defender meets or exceeds all applicable SAE, NFPA and California Title 13 emergency lighting
standards when properly configured.
The Defender lightbar will be available late in the first quarter of 2009. TriCore Technology will also
be incorporated into the SuperVisor™, WingMan™ and other interior/exterior lighting later in the
year.
